Three things to think about before calling a designer
We get so excited at the thought of someone realizing how important their dwelling is. Just to mention a couple of considerations... it impacts mental, emotional, and physical health. It supports healthy living or provides a crutch to bad habits.
A thoughtful, efficient, beautiful home can bring peace and rest and we are all about helping you create that.
These are not meaningless words to us, it’s a call to action, like a sherpa learning she has a new climber to guide to a high place. Before you send the initial email to engage with a designer, here are a few questions a designer will have fairly quickly:
This first one is the most exciting for us, let’s see your inspiration. How do you want to feel in this space? Show us some other spaces that do that for you.
Once we know what spaces you would like help with, we need to know if the project is a spruce up with a lower budget or a full-on gut job?
Do you have a budget already set up for the project?
If it’s a big renovation, are you prepared for the imposition? Will you continue living on-site or do you have other living arrangements set up?
Taking some time to give thought to these questions will help get your project off the ground smoothly.
