In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful houses in Old Town Fort Collins. The home had received some thoughtful renovations throughout its long life and thankfully, many of the historic elements, like original baseboards and trim, had been preserved. But, overall, the interiors felt dark and a bit like one might need to really be into antiques in order to live here. We lightened and modernized the home without tearing down a single wall. We brought in clean-lined furniture in lighter upholstery fabrics mixed with accent pieces that definitely had a traditional design style, and beautiful lighter-toned rugs. We were so pleased with the outcome and the market agreed- it was off the market in a matter of days, above asking, $1.5M+
